Student Support
Student Mentors
We want all students to have the same opportunities to achieve their full personal and academic potential. The mentor scheme operates on a one-to-one basis and is designed to help you remove any possible barriers you might have that are stopping you from reaching your maximum potential, whether the reasons arise from within College or outside. The mentors offer support with study skills, motivation, and time management, and they are committed to helping you overcome any issues you might encounter on the path to successful completion of your course.
Counselling
The College offers a personal Counselling service to help students cope with any difficulties they are experiencing within or outside College. It is confidential and can help with emotional, relationship, personal and study problems. This service is available to all learners and staff free of charge, at all major campuses.
Study Centre
For one-to-one guidance with your course work, drop in to the Study Centres based at any of our campuses. Dedicated specialist staff are there to help you with exams techniques, revision planning, writing assignments and more. You can book in or use a drop-in session to brush up on your own techniques in a friendly environment.
