Student Information

At Birmingham Metropolitan College, we aim to give every student all the help they need to be successful, both during their time at college and in the future. This is reflected in the wide range of student support services available throughout the College.

All students are allocated a Personal Tutor during their time at College. The role of this individual is to support the academic and personal development of the student and to respond to their different needs for help, advice and information.

The College also has full-time counsellors providing a confidential service to all students, alongside Student Mentors; specially trained staff whose job it is to tackle any barriers which may prevent young people from fulfilling their full potential.

The Student Services team provides high-quality services to students and prospective students; with specialist staff providing careers advice and guidance, as well as information on financial support.
