This qualification allows learners to discover and develop skills in caring for a child/ children
Course content
The qualification is made up of a mixture of child care units, Personal and Social Development units and Functional Skills (English, Maths and IT)
- Example units: * Listening to and talking with a young child
- Eating healthily
- Responsibilities for new parent(s)
- Routines for a young child
- Play and learning in the home
Entry Requirements
No formal qualifications needed. Entry will be by initial assessment, clear CRB and interview and a supporting reference. Awarding Body: CACHE
