Course Overview

The Higher National Diploma in Fine Art course aims to prepare students for a career in Fine Art or to enable progression to degree level study. Students who wish to progress to Birmingham City University gain automatic entry onto the second year of a related degree programme following successful completion of the Higher National Diploma course.

Entry Requirements

Applicants should have four GCSEs at grade C or above plus one of the following : two A Levels or four AS Levels: Advanced VCE (Vocational Certificate of Education); BTEC Diploma in Foundation Studies in Art and Design; BTEC National Diploma.

Progression

Students who achieve a Pass on the Higher National Diploma in Fine Art programme can automatically progress to the second year of an appropriate degree course at Birmingham City University.
